The owners of this existing one-story house needed to expand their residence to accommodate their growing family. In order to minimize the footprint in the rear yard, a three-story addition was confined to the central portion of the house. This provided space to create a full-size dining room, enlarge the kitchen and enhance the entry hall on the first floor. It also added space on the second floor to make a full master bedroom suite with bathroom and dressing areas, a home office and a private balcony with views of a picturesque stream beyond.
