BEACH AND YACHT CLUB MASTER PLAN

To attract new families and provide more amenities for current members, the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club undertook a comprehensive master plan to enhance its prominent and historic waterfront property.
The existing clubhouse will be reconstructed to recall the original estate residence that was substantially damaged by fire several years ago. The existing pool area will be renovated and enhanced by a new recreation building with locker rooms, an exercise room, sauna and multi-purpose room. A new yacht club building will be constructed overlooking the marina. To add a new dimension to the club's offerings, two new buildings with seasonal vacation units will also be constructed.
A majority of the 13 acre site will also be renovated to upgrade site utilities, reduce impact of stormwater runoff, comply with FEMA flood zone regulations, restore wetlands, and enhance landscaping throughout.
