PALMER SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER
NEW ROCHELLE, NY
For many years this property served as a factory and headquarters for an international manufacturing company. Optimally located for retailing, the site presented several challenges in its conversion to a multi-tenant shopping center. The existing two-story building had to be altered and expanded, and a new four-level parking garage built on the irregular, steeply-sloped site. A clock tower with elevators and a stair was added to connect the retail stores, atrium and garage while creating an identifiable focal point.
